Applicants must have a degree in a natural science or engineering field in which they attained a sophisticated level of ability in the physical sciences that is equivalent to the requirements in any of the engineering degree programs. Those who meet all requirements except mathematics, but are otherwise well prepared, can meet the mathematics requirement by completing MATH 316 during the first semester with a B or better, or by taking and passing with a B or better score an equivalency test that certifies their level or preparation in mathematics.
